Our story

Double Space is an Australian real estate development and investment joint venture by Enice Technology Co., Ltd. and Bestplace Corporation Limited. Enice is a wireless telecom equipment manufacturer and service company based in Nanjing, China. Since May 2000, Enice has independently developed and launched under its “ENICE” brand GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, PHS series repeaters, base station signal boosters and trunk amplifiers, as well as full-band antennas, splitters, couplers and bridging devices. In 2003, Enice successfully listed its system integration solution business on Shanghai Stock Exchange following a strategic spin-off and group restructuring. In addition to its core telecom technology business, Enice has also commenced developments of industrial and logistics property in recent years to better service its continuing expansion in telecom manufacturing as well as provide a horizontally integrated platform for its smaller counterparts in the industry.

Bestplace is a real estate development and investment company headquartered in Hong Kong. The company has more than 20 years of experience in property development across multiple regions in Greater China and beyond and rose to prominence as a premium private property developer in China’s East Coast region. During the past decade, it has developed over 1 million sqm of floor space spanning various types of projects, including residential apartments, shopping malls, schools and data centres. Some of Bestplace’s representative projects and investments include a staged residential development project in Shanghai which was successfully sold to China Poly Group, as well as a large-scale data centre construction project operated by a top-tier service provider sponsored by Tencent. Equipped with this wealth of expertise and being confident in Australia’s property market and economy, Double Space commenced operations in 2018 and has since gained a firm foothold in the Sydney market.

Direct Investment

I.Prime

This is a joint venture with Wellington Education Group to develop an online knowledge-sharing platform. I.Prime offers a wide range of short courses for graduates and corporate users to enhance their skill sets. Wellington Education Group is one of the most experienced operators in the vocational education and training sector, currently managing two Australia-accredited vocational colleges in Sydney – York Business Institute and Berkeley Business Institute.

FuturaEV Geely Commercial Electric Vehicle Project

As the Australian Government’s climate policy hardens, a boom is expected in the emerging electric vehicles sector in Australia, which is rolling out low or zero-emission cars onto the roads.

Double Space has taken a substantial stake in FuturaEV, which is finalising arrangements with Geely Auto Group regarding an exclusive distributorship in Australia in respect of a popular electric light truck.

Double Space has formed an exclusive finance partnership with MC since our establishment. We work closely with MC on equity raising, fund management and senior debt facilities to meet our evolving financial needs. On the investment end, we have also participated in numerous property financing deals initiated by MC.

Griffith University

Project Consultant

We have the pleasure of working closely with industry experts from Griffith University on multiple fronts in our upcoming projects. In particular, we will be guided by their expertise in the field of tourism and hospitality as well as engineering and project management in the development and future operations of Sandalwood Estate, our latest regional holiday resort project in Hunter Valley. Our collaborations also include an internship placement program which will see skilled personnel and students placed with us at different stages of the project, including initiatives in the role of consulting engineers to work on technicalities in relation to the development application and construction work.
